My first experience with Diane Lane was in junior high school- she played Sherri 'Cherry' Valance the 'soc' in The Outsiders, a then favorite movie and book.

Yesterday I was reading another book that was made into a movie- Under the Tuscan Sun and thought of the beauty of that movie and of Diane herself...
